Main Unit PNDhoist is a lightweight, intelligent electric lifting device designed for robotics R&D labs, precision assembly workshops, small production lines, and testing scenarios. It utilizes wireless remote control and an intelligent control system to achieve efficient, safe, and precise lifting and positioning operations, significantly enhancing R&D and operational efficiency.


‼️ IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

DANGER

  • NEVER lift or transport people or animals.
  • Keep clear of the rope and the area beneath the load. Never stand, walk under, or place any items.
  • NEVER touch the charging port to prevent electric shock.
  • In case of an emergency, press A button on the controller to execute an emergency stop.

WARNING

  • Do not exceed the rated capacity.
  • Do not operate if the rope is worn, frayed or damaged, or if the safety latch is loose. Replace any damaged components before use.
  • Do not operate if load is not centered under hoist. Do not hoist at any angles.
  • Keep the remote controller hook at least 10 cm away from the bottom of the host unit to prevent entanglement and damage.
  • Do not touch the rollers to avoid hand pinching.

NOTE

  • Ensure the suspension point (rail) has sufficient load-bearing capacity.
  • This hoist is for indoor use only. Strictly prohibited for outdoor use, damp environments, or in rain/snow. Using outdoors or in damp environments may cause electrical damage, electric shock, or personal injury.

📋 Operating Instructions

🔌 Charging

  • Insert the charger and rotate to lock.
  • Push the button to unlock and rotate to remove. Charger

  • Charger Indicator steady green: Indicates full charge.

  • Main Unit Indicator multicolor blinking: Indicates successful startup, entering standby mode.

🎮 Controller Connection

The controller is pre-paired during initial setup. It connects automatically upon power-on and is ready for use. If replacing the controller, re-pairing is required.

  1. Press and hold the controller Power Button for 3 seconds to power on the controller.
  2. Controller Indicator blue blinking: Indicates successful power-on, waiting for connection.
  3. Controller Indicator blue steady, Main Unit Indicator green blinking: Indicates successful controller connection, motor initializing.
  4. Main Unit Indicator blue blinking: Indicates successful motor initialization, controller operation is now available.

🎮 Controller Pairing

  1. Connect a PC or mobile device to the Wi-Fi (PNDhoist_XXX, obtain from label on main unit) and access the management page.

🔍 Pre-Installation Check

  • Ensure the rail is correctly installed and secure.
  • Install the hook, check if the safety latch closes properly (rotate and press down to unlock, release to auto-lock). Hook
  • Check if the wire rope is neatly wound on the drum.

🔩 Installation Procedure

  1. Remove the rail end stop.
  2. Slide the device into the rail with the pulley facing upwards (recommended to adjust device orientation for easy observation of wire rope status). Trolley

🔄 Lifting Operation

During the first lift, use the jog function to raise the load 10-20 cm off the ground. Check brake reliability and suspension stability. Confirm everything is correct before continuing.

  • Power On & Connect: Press and hold the controller power button, the device automatically connects to the paired controller.
  • Load Suspension:
    1. Rotate and press down to unlock the safety latch.
    2. Suspend the load.
    3. Release the safety latch to auto-lock.

NOTE

  • Ensure the safety latch is locked.
  • Ensure the hook is directly above the load to avoid creating side pull.

Load

Lifting / Lowering:

  • Lift: Press C Button or Hold @ Button + Push Joystick Up
  • Lower: Press D Button or Hold @ Button + Push Joystick Down
  • Operation Tip: Use the jog function for more precise positioning.

Power Off:

  • After operation, press and hold the controller Power Button for 3 seconds to power off the device.
  • The device supports an auto-sleep function to save power.
